Bought a new house that came with crappy builders grade pine handrails for the staircase. Utilized this opportunity to upgrade to solid one-piece Walnut for both stair handrails. Both turned out nice, shipped quickly and securely.
Matt and Hill are great and we're very helpful along the way being available to answer any and all questions. Everything turned out great and was also packaged very well for shipping. Definitely recommend.
Couldn't be happier. Ordered the white oak handrail with the 'dead flat' finish which was a perfect match to floors.
A little but of a struggle to find the studs and to make sure my angles were good, but all gooid in the end.

Outstanding quality and service. Needed a custom built solid wood handrail in an extremely short time. LOVE my new handrails!! They are absolutely perfect. Our floors are red oak and we had them redone with a red out stain and then a natural stain. I wasn’t sure how the white oak rails would look with them but they are perfect!!! The sellers are fabulous, the rails were packaged to perfection, and the hand rails are of amazing quality. Very nicely made and hardware is good, sturdy quality.
We came up with the concept mid-build. Hutcheson delivered the railings and hardware on time and in good condition. We ran a groove underneath to fit the LV strip lights. Haven't used the canned lights since.

We were nearing the end of a 2 year, major remodel of our home. The custom cabinet builder that had supplied the cabinets for our pantry, kitchen, two islands, and built-ins next to our fireplace, provided a quote for a mantel to match the floating shelves they had already provided.
The price and time required to compete the mantel were both unacceptable. We found Matt on Etsy and contracted him to build the mantel. We also paid a little extra to reduce the wait as the mantel was holding up other trades.
The end result was a mantel that looks like it was made by the same company that made the floating shelves. The quality is top notch, the French cleat mad installation simple, the price was much better, the communication was great, and the product was shipped exactly when it was promised when ordered.
Every aspect of the process was perfect!! If only the balance of our remodel had gone as well…
